January 10th is “Coming of Age Day” in Japan, and seven members of AKB48 (Miyazawa Sae, Sato Natsuki, Katayama Haruka, Nakata Chisato, Matsubara Natsumi, Matsui Sakiko and Sato Amina) celebrated the occasion by appearing at the Kanda Shrine in kimonos.Receiving the purification ritual at the shrine, the girls declared their ambitions for the new year, as the first step of becoming an adult. Now that they’re of legal age to drink alcohol, the girls revealed that they want to have a party and drink together.
